What is tallow?
Tallow is rendered beef fat that's naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with skin-loving fatty acids. It's been used for generations as a natural moisturizer because its composition is remarkably compatible with our skin.
Why use tallow instead of traditional lotion?
Many lotions are made primarily with water, fillers, and preservatives. Our whipped tallow balms are concentrated, water-free moisturizers made with simple ingredients that nourish and protect your skin without unnecessary additives.
Will it clog my pores?
Everyone's skin is different, but many people with dry, sensitive, or irritated skin find tallow works beautifully. Because it's similar to the oils your skin naturally produces, it absorbs well without feeling overly greasy when used sparingly.
Does it smell like beef?
No. Properly rendered tallow has little to no beef scent. Depending on the variety you choose, you'll either experience the natural aroma of the ingredients or the essential oils we've blended into each product.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Our products are made with simple, thoughtfully selected ingredients and are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. If you have allergies or extremely reactive skin, we always recommend doing a small patch test first.
Where is your tallow sourced?
We source high-quality beef suet from trusted farms and suppliers. We carefully render and craft every batch ourselves in Utah.
How long does one jar last?
A little goes a long way. Most customers find a jar lasts several months with regular daily use, depending on how often and where it's applied.

Yes! Every product is handcrafted in small batches here in Utah to ensure quality and freshness.

Are your products made with essential oils?
Some are, and some are completely unscented. Each product page lists every ingredient so you can choose what works best for your skin.
How should I store my tallow?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Since our products don't contain artificial stabilizers, they may soften in warm temperatures but are still perfectly usable.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer the following shipping options for US orders:
- Standard Shipping — $8.00 (3–5 business days)
- Express Shipping — $15.00 (1–3 business days)
- Free Standard Shipping on orders $35.00 and over (3–5 business days)
Please note that shipping times are in addition to our order processing time of 3–5 business days. We do our best to get every order out as quickly as possible!
What happens to my order during summer heat?
Tallow is a natural product that can be sensitive to heat, so we take extra precautions during the warmer months. We typically ship Monday–Wednesday only to avoid packages sitting in warehouses or on trucks over the weekend where heat can cause melting. We also add insulation and cooling items to each package when needed.
Even with these precautions, your tallow may occasionally arrive with a slightly altered texture. Please know this does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the product — only the appearance. If you have any concerns about your order, don't hesitate to reach out!
Do you accept returns?
Because our products are personal care items, we don't accept returns. However, if there's an issue with your order, please reach out. We genuinely want every customer to have a great experience.
